Why not visit

The famous Mont-St-Michel, Frances second most popular place to visit after Paris.

Two of the famous Normandie landing beaches, Omaha and Utah also with many museums are approximately 35-45 minutes drive away.

Re -live the exceptional exploits of the 2nd Battalion of the US Rangers at POINTE DU HOC.

St-Mere-Eglise for its famous church, World War II museums and exhibits.

 

Bayeux is a beautiful town with its famous tapestry (1066) stroll through the old town of Bayeux with many individual shops and timber framed houses.

 

 

St-Malo with its old port, many restaurants, cafés and bars along the seafront.

The old town of Granville with its beaches and fishing port, with ferries to the Channel isles.

Or why not discover Villedieu with its regular Tuesday market. Also many shops of brass and copperware with its foundry still producing bells.

For the children there is also a good day's entertainment at Villedieu zoo, Festiland Theme Park outside of Caen and Forest Adventure only 20 minutes away at St-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, and of course the endless beaches on our doorstep.

For those of you who enjoy Golf, Normandie was voted as one of the top Ten destinations in the world in 2001 for golf, and we are lucky to have a very good selection of courses very nearby.
