Part of a traditional longère built in the 1600s, our lovingly renovated gite retains many of its original features including a beautifully restored original open fireplace, featuring an inset woodburning stove, for those cosy nights by the fire.
Living room
The living room has been tastefully furnished, and retains that true French rustic feel with exposed beams. A beautiful original Normandy fireplace on a backdrop of the original stone wall fitted with a lovely woodburning stove, is the ideal centrepiece to this lovely room. Other equipment provided includes a selection of games a TV, DVD, and satellite for the younger visitors who do not want to miss their favourite programmes.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms, one double and one twin, with their exposed beams, comfortable beds and good quality mattresses and bedding guarantee a good night’s sleep, ready for the day ahead.
Kitchen/diner
Fully equipped kitchen including fridge with freezer compartment, oven, microwave and all the essential cooking utensils plus eating area to seat four.
A welcome basket will be waiting for you on arrival with a small selection of the most essential items to help get your holiday started.
Salle de bains
In this spacious heated salle de bains you will find a fitted bathroom suite including a shower to freshen up after a busy day sightseeing. Fresh towels are provided.
Garden
The gite is set in its own south facing private garden with wooden furniture and a BBQ, ideal for relaxing during those long, warm, summer evenings, al fresco dining with a glass of good French wine. If you’re really lucky, you might even spot one or two of our resident wild rabbits hopping around.
There is off-road parking provided with separate access to the gite via a quaint garden gate and pathway through the garden.
